Our potted Forest Flame is weighed down with flower buds but all the leaves seem to be turning yellow and dying. Should we be concerned?

    Hi, Kim & Roger,
Two possibilities come to mind - either too much water or the compost isnt acidic enough. Also, how long has it been in the pot? If it hasn't been repotted or root-pruned in three or four years, it probably needs fresh compost and a check to see that the roots are not girdling. Have you had a chance to check the growing requirements for 'Forest Flame' here on Shoot? The plant page for it might have some answers for you. Any chance you could post a photo?
    All the best,

Hello Kathy, Thanks for responding. FF been in pot for at least three years. Used sequestrene two weeks ago and we're waiting to see if it improves things. Don't think it's too much water.....never rains here! Photos attached.

      Hi, again!
Photos are helpful - thank! I think the pot is too small for the plant.
