1. Aucuba japonica, Japanese Laurel. Dug out three of these; never had to work harder. Three years later, they sprouted anew.

Garden Design

How do current members feel about the upgrade plan? Is it very useful for garden design? Is it easy to create the actual design/shape of the garden space and can google map coordinates be used or architects plans used to create the shapes of the site?

Cant see Care Calender

I have been getting emails saying You have a new set of care instructions for your garden. Make sure to cross them off your list to ensure your garden will continue to look beautiful. But when I click the link I go to my dashboard and I cant see any care instructions. I have clicked every link I can see. I found this help page https://www.shootgardening.com/design-and-plan/care-calendar and see what I assume dashboard should look like. When I click Get started on that page I just go back to dashboard. Added screenshots of my dashboard / what I think I should see. Can someone let me know what I need to do. Many thanks

Discuss Mosaic virus

Greetings from County Wicklow, the 'Garden County of Ireland' I just lost a newly-planted Epimedium Pink Elf to mosaic virus (it seems,,,shrivelled, grey mottled leaves, rapid decline over 1 fortnigh). I'm wondering if this is specific to 'Pink Elf' variety only? as I've planted several other varieties of Epimedium (sourced from same, reputable perennial plant nursery in county Dublin); I will alert this nursery today. Any comments, advice, similar experience. Sadly, Aidan

Looks like it might be a sort of Liverwort to me. I'm afraid I don't know how to get rid of it other than taking a couple of inches of soil with it.

Hi, can anyone help me by telling me what this groundcover weed is? It likes the same areas as moss. I remove it by taking off the top layer of soil but this is not an ideal solution and any ideas of how to get rid of it would be great. Thanks.

Searchable garden plan

Francis Bryan

I am a client of a garden designer who is providing me with a maintenance plan for a mature garden. Unfortunately I cannot see the plan in Shoot, only on a paper copy, and so with hundreds of plants it is not easy to locate the plants on the plan. Can you make the plan available online to clients and provide functionality to locate plants on the plan?

I have recently been introduced to the website by our garden designer so that I can access the care plans for my plants. However he tells me it is not possible to share the plan online so I only have a paper copy. With 8 borders and hundreds of plants it is very time consuming to try to find plants on the paper copy. Do you plan to make the plan available and have a searchable plant feature in the future?
