Variety or Cultivar
'Laciniata' is a conical, deciduous tree with ovate, dark green leaves divided into numerous, pointed lobes. Clusters of pendent, yellow-brown, male catkins bloom in late winter and early spring before the leaves emerge. Catkins are followed by ovoid, cone-like, green fruit turning dark brown when ripe.
