Cultivation

Grow indoors in 1 part fibrous loam, 1 part coarse sand & 2-3 parts leaf mould added charcoal, covering the crowns with moss. Mist regularly to increase humidity. Avoid temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight. Min 16C and high humidity required in summer. In growth, water freely & feed monthly. Suitable for growing hydroponically (roots in water) in glass containers. Ideally, grow in rainwater since rainwater is softer than tap water. Top up with mineral water. Replace water every four weeks. There are a number of pink Anthrium cultivars marketed as 'Aqua Pink'. 'Zizou' is just one of those cultivars.
