Species
A. mexicana is a borderline hardy, clump-forming, spreading annual with erect stems bearing elliptic to lance-shaped, spiny, deeply lobed, blue-green leaves with silver veins. Poppy-like, lightly fragrant, yellow flowers bloom in late summer and early autumn.
