Cultivation

Plant in poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Does not tolerate heavy, waterlogged soil. Drought tolerant once established. Will be evergreen in climates with warm or mild winters. Where native, grows in elevations from 900-3,300m (3,000 to 11,000').
