Species
B. angustifolia is a clump-forming, bulbous, deciduous perennial with narrowly strap-shaped, fleshy, channelled, bronze-flushed, dark grey-green leaves and erect, often reddish-brown stems bearing dense racemes of star-shaped, bright yellow flowers in summer.
