'Rossa di Treviso' is a compact, rosette-forming, tap-rooted, deciduous perennial, often grown as annual vegetable crop, with edible roots, narrowly ovate, edible, maroon to reddish-purple leaves, creamy-white at the midrib and veins, and, if allowed to flower, branching stems bearing dandelion-like, blue flowerheads from summer into autumn.
