'Riches' is a vigorous, rounded, deciduous shrub or small tree with broadly ovate, mid- to dark green leaves, grey-downy beneath and turning yellow in autumn. Solitary, pale white flowers blooming from the leaf axils in spring are followed by large, fragrant, rounded, edible, grey-downy, yellow fruit ready for harvest in early autumn.
