Hi,
Since most of the lower leaves are gone, that must be a critter - probably rabbit if they are around. The leaves with holes are another culprit - the type made indicative of caterpillars or slugs. I'm inclined to think caterpillar since they are higher up on the plant. Tho, when hungry enough, slugs and snails will climb! :)

2 not very good photos! All lower leaves and parts of stem eaten and only a handful of munched leaves at top left. Hope this works.

I will try to do so but am new at this game! I have a plethora of slugs and snails and also some lily beatle. No chance of sheep etc as encolsed smallish urban garden!
