Cultivation

Outdoors in mild areas, grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, neutral to acid soil in sun or partial shade. Drought, salt, fire, and light frost tolerant. Under glass, grow in loam-based compost in full light with shade from hot sun. In growth, water freely & feed weekly. May bloom later than spring if grown under glass or in the coolest areas of its growing range.
