Symptoms - Deep-brown, scabby patches appear on leaves of flowering
spurs in spring and later the fruits of apple and pear trees.
Infected parts eventually die.
This infection may also cause uneven leaf growth and/or a blistered
appearance, and fruits to split and develop brown rot.
