Species
E. erythrocorys is an open, spreading, half-hardy, evergreen shrub or small tree with exfoliating, cream to pale brown bark and sickle-shaped, grey-green leaves, heart- to lance-shaped when young. Umbels of scarlet buds open to petalless flowers with showy, golden-yellow stamens. Flowers are followed by woody, bell-shaped seed capsules.

In frost-free areas, best grown in well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil in full sun. Tolerates pollution and drought. Will tolerate slightly acid soil. Seed capsules (gumnuts) can be a slipping or tripping hazard.
