Additional plant details

Cultivation

Grow in humus-rich, well-drained, preferably neutral soil in full sun. Tolerates partial to full shade but habit will be more open and leaves will be darker. Drought tolerant once established but better with supplemental water in prolonged dry periods. In frost-prone areas, grow in a container and overwinter indoors. Under glass, grow in mix of 3 parts loam-based compost and 1 part grit in full light and good ventilation. In growth, water sparingly and feed with a low nitrogen fertiliser monthly. Keep dry in winter.
