Agave
Agave is a genus of about 70 species of rosette-forming, evergreen perennials, some monocarpic, from mountain and desert regions in the Americas and the West Indies with fleshy, usually rigid and sharp-pointed leaves and leafless stems bearing clusters, racemes, or panicles of funnel-shaped flowers followed by spherical or ovoid fruit.
