Alpinia

Alpinia is a genus over 200 species of evergreen perennials from moist, tropical forests in Australia, Southeast Asia, China, and India with two-ranked, lance-shaped leaves and racemes or panicles of bell-shaped, hooded flowers with prominent bracts.
