Cenchrus

Cenchrus is a genus of approximately 25 species of annual or perennial grasses, closely related to the genus Pennisetum, found in warm, sandy areas of North America, South America, Australia, Southern Asia, and the Pacific Islands with linear leaves and slender flower spikelets.
