Pithecellobium

Pithecellobium is a genus of 23 species of shrubs and trees from scrub, dry, tropical woodland, and coastal dunes in Central America, Northern South America, the Caribbean Islands, and Florida (United States) with racemes of flowers followed by curled seed pods.
