Quercus

Quercus is a genus of approximately 600 species of deciduous or evergreen shrubs and trees from scrub and woodland in the Northern Hemisphere with entire, toothed, or lobed leaves and catkins or racemes of tiny flowers followed by ovoid, brown nuts with scaly cups.
