Rosa is a genus of about 150 species of deciduous or semi-evergreen shrubs or climbers from a variety of habitats in Asia, Europe, Northern Africa, and North America, often with thorny stems bearing pinnate leaves and solitary or clustered flowers followed by showy fruit.
