Trachycarpus

Trachycarpus is a genus of approximately 8 species of singe-stemmed, evergreen palms from temperate and subtropical mountain forests in Asia with fan-shaped, palmate leaves and cup-shaped flowers with prominent bracts. Flowers are followed by kidney-shaped or spherical fruit.
