Volutaria

Volutaria is a genus of about 20 species of annuals and perennials found in gravelly or sandy soil in Northwest Africa, Eastern Africa, Western Asia, and the Iberian Peninsula with erect stems bearing lance-shaped, sometimes pinnate, grey-green leaves and thistle-like flowers.
