Xylosma

Xylosma is a genus of approximately 100 species of spiny, evergreen shrubs and trees from subtropical and tropical regions of Asia, Australia, Central America, the Carribean, and northern South America with glossy leaves and racemes of small, fragrant to pungent, yellow-green flowers followed by purple-black fruit.
