Cultivation

Grow outdoors in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light shade. Needs a sheltered position. In frost-prone areas, protect rhizomes with a thick winter mulch. Will remain evergreen above 18C (65F). Under glass, grow in loam-based compost in bright, indirect light. In growth, water freely & feed monthly. Provide good ventilation & moderate to high humidity.
