I moved in October so not sure what I have in my garden other than a lot of tall over grown shrubs and a few smaller plants amongst them. Can anyone help with the identity of these please?

Hi, can anyone help me by telling me what this groundcover weed is? It likes the same areas as moss. I remove it by taking off the top layer of soil but this is not an ideal solution and any ideas of how to get rid of it would be great. Thanks.

Taken over a new very large garden and this plant is everywhere, loads of roots which seem to have strangled lots of everything else in the garden. I need to get rid and at the moment it seems the only way is to dig it out, any other options to control it?

This plant is about 10 inches high, and does have a slight pineapple scent. The leaves look sage-like, but I cannot find any pictures of a sage with flowers like this. Does anyone have any idea of what it is?

No, nothing that smokes. Just a 'Buddha Palm', possibly called ..Cerbera odollam.. from the Apocynaceae family, apparently. Big nut type seed like a small coconut. Told to float in water until it sprouts. Any further info would be good. Thanks. Also its the best place for Palma Cycas, Alliums and Callas. Brilliant weekend!.

There are a couple of large Skimmia in my garden, which are probably over 20 years old. Both have quite yellow leaves. Our soil is acid and I put down ericaceous soil improver last autumn but it hasn't helped. One of the bushes is now dying back, with dry, dead leaves.I am going to try Epsom salts next, but it's this likely to save it or is it just too old?

Hello I bought some of these at a plant sale a couple of years ago. Last year they grew a little bit to about 6-8" high, with lovely soft silvery leaves. This year they have shot up to over a metre high and have vibrant pink flowers. Can anyone tell me what they are please? Many thanks Charlotte

I have a number of these cycads. I am trying to identify the species and whether they are valuable or common. Do I need a cycad licence to sell these? They grow easily in Johannesburg South Africa
