Additional plant details

Cultivation

Thrives in moist, acid to neutral, coastal sites in full sun. Do not allow to dry out. Salt and flood tolerant. Suitable for salt marsh restoration. Plants will be taller in low salinity soil, approx. 30 cm tall in high salinity soils. Compact plants are genetically adaptable to high soil salinity. Larger plants lack this adaptability and will die if transplanted to high saline conditions.
