'Aurea' is a clump-forming, deciduous perennial with golden-yellow to yellow-green leaves divided into two ovate, sometimes lobed leaflets and, in late spring and early summer, arching, fleshy stems bearing racemes of heart-shaped, rose-pink flowers with white inner petals.
