'Ruby Cute' is a compact, clump-forming, deciduous to semi-evergreen, perennial grass with arching, linear, bright to mid-green leaves, white at the midribs and turning pink then dark red in autumn. Erect stems bear feathery panicles of silvery-grey flower spikelets from late summer into autumn.
