Symptoms
The most common damage caused by deer is made by its eating part of
the plant. Because deer lack upper incisors, browsed twigs and
stems show a rough, shredded surface.
Other less frequent forms of damage include trampling and damage
to trees and shrubs caused by antler rubbing.
