Elaeagnus sucker

Symptoms
Elaeagnus has few pests so if you notice shoots covered in sooty mould this is a fairly sure sign. Heavy infestations cause early leaf fall.

Spot them
A sap-sucking pest that covers the Elaeagnus shoots in a sooty mould and honeydew. The pest feeds on the underside of the leaves.
