Michaelmas daisy mite

Michaelmas daisy mite

Symptoms
The most obvious symptom to look for is poor flowering or missing blooms which have converted into rosettes of small leaves. Growth will also appear stunted and stems will show brownish scarring marks.

Spot them
These whitish mites are less than 1mm long, and are invisible without a microscope. They feed by sucking sap inside the developing flower buds and shoot tips.
