Heavy infestations can cause unhealthy growth, yellowing foliage
and eventually the death of the plant.
Spot them
Up to 5 mm, these flat, soft-bodied insects are covered with
greyish white mealy wax. They form colonies on the upper leaf
surface of New Zealand flax.
