Species
P. rubra is a large, tender, upright, deciduous shrub or small tree with thick stems bearing oblong to broadly elliptic, mid-green leaves, paler at the midrib. Panicles of fragrant, salverform, pink, red, rarely yellow flowers from summer into autumn.
