Cultivation

In frost-free areas, plant tubers 10-15cm in moderately fertile, well-drained soil, neutral to alkaline soil in sun. In frost-prone areas, lift tubers before first frost and story in sand in a cool, dry place. Alternatively, grow under glass in loam-based compost in full light. In growth, water moderately & feed every two weeks. Reduce watering when the leaves die back and keep dry in winter.
