'Betty Ashburner' is a prostrate, evergreen shrub with bristly, red-flushed, erect to arching shoots bearing lobed, heart-shaped, wavy-margined, veined, glossy, mid-green leaves. Racemes of saucer-shaped, white flowers in summer are followed by small, red, edible fruit.
