Species
S. chamaedryoide is a half-hardy, low-growing, woody-based, evergreen to semi-evergreen perennial with branching stems, elliptic, scalloped, finely hairy, mid- to grey-green leaves and, in late summer, upright, terminal racemes of deep blue flowers with widely spreading lips.
