HI, Margaret, 'Magic Marlot' is male. You don't need a female - you only want a male planted with a female if you want a female plant to set fruit. Kathy C
I have just bought this small bush but is it male, female, does it need to be grown together with another Skimmia, if so what would you recommend. It need to be a smilar size.
