Cultivation

Outdoors, best grown in deep, fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates short periods of light frost, coastal spray, moist but not waterlogged soil, and moderate drought. Under glass, grow in ericaceous compost in full light with shade from hot sun. In growth, water moderately & feed monthly. Water sparingly in winter.
