Cultivation

In frost-free areas, grow in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Best in loam but tolerates a range of soil conditions. Tolerates salinity, wind, pollution, and drought. The wood of this tree is extremely hard and durable. Under glass, grow in loam-based compost with added sharp sand in full light. In growth, water moderately & feed monthly.
