Species
T. occidentalis is a dense, conical to rounded, evergreen, coniferous tree with reddish-brown, exfoliating bark, flattened sprays of ovate, scale-like, aromatic, yellow-green leaves, pale or grey-green beneath, and ovoid, female cones with paired, smooth scales.
