'Chameleon' is a compact, mound-forming, evergreen shrub or subshrub with trailing stems bearing leathery, glossy, lance-shaped, dark green leaves, pink when emerging turning white then white-mottled, dark green as they mature. Mature leaves are often flushed red in winter. Clusters of strongly fragrant, creamy-white flowers bloom in summer.
