Species
V. officinalis subsp. sambucifolia is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with pinnate leaves divided into lance-shaped, toothed, mid- to bright green leaves and erect, branching stems bearing cymes of small, fragrant, funnel-shaped, pink or white flowers in summer.
