Almost entirely green, the textural planting of the Mending Broken Hearts Appeal Garden is pushed into the boundaries with a planted green wall system, leading the eye up to the heart-shaped leaves and mature limes.

Many of the plants have a connection to cardiology, or are edible. 'Emergency' accents are created through sparse, red planting, allowing the hard landscaping to be thrown into stark relief.

The results are stunning. It really is a garden of rich, positive hope - the hope that one day millions of hearts can be mended through the regenerative science of The Mending Broken Hearts research programme.
