The brief was to develop a wildlife garden to provide the RSPB with an opportunity to communicate with the many visitors that already visit Flatford Mill. It will provide a breathing space from the crowds and allow visitors to be inspired by a wildlife garden that, through good design and interpretation, provokes them to improve their own outdoor spaces for wildlife.  It will provide a showcase for the RSPB’s Homes for Wildlife programme. The sloping site includes traditional hedging, wetland, woodland and flowering plants.
